De style Louis XIV d’après un modèle d'Elie Pacot, hexagonal sur pieds-toupies cannelés, le réchaud avec la galerie ajourée de lambrequins et bordure de rosaces en rappel sur le plat, le couvercle cloche à décor similaire, gravé sur les couvercles d'un cimier,
poinçons sur les réchauds, plats, couvercles, prises et écrous: titre, ville, lettre-date (A), et orfèvre;
On y ajoute quatre plats ciselés d'une bordure d'oves et attaches coquille, gravés deux fois d'un cimier aussi par Robert Garrard, Londres, 1870,

Le cimier sur les plats est probablement celui des Henry, peut-être pour Mitchell Henry (1826-1910) de Kylemore Castle, Letterfrack, co. Galway et Stratheden House, Knightsbridge, financier et homme politique.

In the Louis XIV style, after a model by Elie Pacot, each hexagonal, on six fluted acorn feet, with pierced baroque rosette and scroll frieze and an upper border of ovolo and rosettes,
the high domed cover with palmettes and lattice work on a matted ground, the upper border with baroque scrolls, rosettes and grotesque masks, engraved with a crest, together
with four later hexagonal warming dishes, also by Robert Garrard, 1870 with ovolo borders and shell and engraved twice with a different crest, all fully marked
The crest on the dishes is possibly that of Henry, possibly for Mitchell Henry (1826-1910) of Kylemore Castle, Letterfrack, co. Galway and Stratheden House, Knightsbridge, a financier and Liberal politician.
The bases for these entree dishes, in the French Régence style, are after the famous surtout-de table dated 1709-1710, made by Lille silversmith Elie Pacot. The surtout consisted of a large centerpiece, four octagonal, eight hexagonal and two triangular jardinières, as well as four rectangular jardinières with curved sides.
The surtout-de-table, possibly originally belonging to the Duke of Marlborough, was sold at Christie's, 9-10 April, 1829, purchased first by Cripps and then Garrard who used it as model from 1838 proving the popularity of the model.
