The top decorated with panels depicting animals, birds, baskets of fruit and landscapes, the edge with acanthus-cast border, above a pair of ormolu beaded cupboard doors depicting landscapes and enclosing eight oak-lined short drawers, the projecting angles with foliate and palmette mounts and the front feet with scrolled acanthus sabots, losses to the lacquer, the drawer rails and dust boards repositioned at the time of construction
