A masterpiece of artistry and craftsmanship, the Le Cirque Animalier De Cartier – Gecko is part of a limited edition of only 50 pieces, this particular example being number 41. This highly exclusive piece had a retail price of 130,000 Euros.
The gecko is sculpted in precious stones, set upon a luminous Tahitian mother-of-pearl dial, with emeralds for its eyes, creating a strikingly lifelike presence. The off-centered time display at 3 o’clock adds a touch of asymmetrical elegance, while the exquisite materials and meticulous detailing exemplify Cartier’s tradition of fusing haute joaillerie with watchmaking.
