The Rolex GMT Master pilot’s watch is one of the most coveted vintage collector’s pieces worldwide; it is considered the most distinguished model of the GMT-Master series. Production started in the 1960s and ran until the 1980s. The watch mostly featured the classic "Pepsi" bezel with the distinctive blue and red bezel design. However the watch also came with a black bezel, which lends the watch a very elegant and sophisticated appeal. The black dial is particularly attractive because of the timeless design, which guarantees perfect readability and is beautiful to look at in combination with the luminous indexes. This timepiece is an extremely attractive and highly sought-after classic piece with a marvellous patina on the immaculate dial and original, charmingly aged custard-coloured luminous indexes and hands with tritium luminous mass. The steel Oyster case shows some age-appropriate signs of wear but is in a beautiful authentic condition. The revolving 24-hour bezel is still sharp after 50 years and features a "Fat Font Serif Inlay".
Case: very good, slightly worn. Dial: very good. Movm.: very good, capable of running, cleaning recommended.
