A very attractive 18 K white gold wrist chronograph with mother-of-pearl dial and diamond indexes

Case: 18 K white gold, screw back with marking 2119 and original green Rolex sticker, screwed "Triplock" winding gold crown, 18 K white gold Rolex deployant clasp AB (2000) with signs of wear.
Dial: Mother-of-pearl, diamond indexes, perfect slim no lume baton hands.
Movm.: Automatic.
From the mid 1960s on Rolex tested various surface designs and materials, in particular for the Day-Date models, which were in their heyday in the 1970s. Many fine materials were used such as semi-precious stones, mother-of-pearl, rubies, sapphires, emeralds and diamonds. This Rolex Zenith Daytona, reference 16519 is s a Rolex classic piece in white gold with a one-of-a-kind mother-of-pearl dial framed by diamond indexes in white gold chatons. The dial is in perfect condition without any damage and has a beautiful rosé shimmer. As every mother-of-pearl dial comes in a different colour intensity and structure, it is truly unique. The case remains unpolished and shows minor signs of wear. The bezel has been replaced. The movement with Zenith caliber 4030 is very clean, nevertheless we recommend a service.
