each with gently rounded lobed sides rising from a tapering short foot to a barbed rim, painted to the interior in rich cobalt-blue tones with a medallion enclosing five scholars inspecting a scroll, all within alternating
bajixiang
and trigram symbols, the exterior with a foaming wave band, the base with an apocryphal Chenghua reign mark, 16.5cm diameter
