Amarna Period, Ca. 1353 - 1336 BC.
A blue-painted terracotta jar of biconical profile with the shoulder set below a slender neck and a flaring everted rim with a rounded lip. Painted in black, red and blue, across the shoulder runs a continuous frieze of Nilotic plants: alternating papyrus umbels, lotus buds and circular rosettes, framed by circumferential bands. Around the neck, the ornament includes a ring of upright pointed petals, with further linear bands beneath the rim.
