Amarna Period, Ca. 1353 - 1336 BC.
A blue-painted pottery jar with an ovoid body rising to a broad shoulder, a tall cylindrical neck and a pronounced rim. The decoration, painted in blue with red and black dividing lines, comprises continuous friezes of lotus petals around the neck, shoulder and upper body.

Provenance: Prince collection, 1990s-2014; Ex. Private collection 1970s-1990s.
This piece is accompanied by an authentication statement from Simone Musso, consultant curator for Egyptian antiquities at the Stibbert Museum, Florence, Italy, member of the Nuri Archaeological Expedition.
