Bronze sculpture of a sower, signed, with the foundry mark "Cire Perdue Siot", height 39 cm. Plaque with the text: "Ministère de l'Agriculture, Le Concours de prime d'honneur de l'Aude 1926, Prix Cultural 30 Categorie, Dr. Guilhem Jacques in Saint Michel de Lanes". In 1926, Dr. Guilhem Jacques of Saint-Michel-de-Lanès received an honorary cultural award from the French Ministry of Agriculture for his contribution to the agricultural sector. He was a physician, mayor, and pioneer in agricultural cooperatives, and played a key role in the development of agriculture in the Aude. The award was part of a prestigious competition recognizing outstanding agricultural achievements.
