Wooden bar cabinet with 3 crystal panels, depicting "Femme Bras Levés", "Femme Tête Levée" and "Joueur De Pipeau", design by René Lalique, with glass top, 1980s or later, height 111 cm, width 110 cm, depth 40 cm. These panels were originally designed in 1928 to embellish the carriages of the famous Orient Express, the train that took travellers from the banks of the Seine to the shores of the Bosphorus. Provenance: Metz & Co (Amsterdam).
