The badge ready 'Tria juncta in uno', a Latin phrase meaning 'three joined in one. Typically this can be interpreted as refering to the union of Scotland, England and Wales, or indeed the Holy Trinity. This motto is used by the Order of the Bath, a British order of chivalry founded by George I in 1725.
