with a high back and stuff-over seat upholstered in foliate velvet, with a pair of open arms, and tapering faceted supports united by turned and square stretchers,

Condition Report
The upholstery appears in fair order. General old scuffs, knocks, surface wear and abrasions to the supports. Minor breaks and repairs. Further breaks and repairs to the legs and stretchers, with traces of minor historic woodworm damage which does not appear active. There is a small amount of movement in the joints but overall it is solid and appears in reasonably good structural and cosmetic condition.
