1st calculator in the world produced in series. Invented 1820 by Charles Xavier Thomas, Colmar/Alsace, later Paris. With 6 input sliders, 7-digit revolution counter and 12-digit results mechanism. Serial no. 1915, brass mechanism in oak case, with lock and key, excellent working condition. – A true milestone of calculating history and a superb collector's item of top museum quality!
