83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot. The smallest vintage at Mouton since 1969, with an Indian summer and late harvest. In 2023, super-scented, spicy and infused with blackcurrant - pretty intoxicating, in the nicest possible way. Voluptuous, rich, complex and 'meaty' on the palate. Lush layers of black and red fruits, with great aromatic intensity. Remarkable impact and nobility. The texture is seductively creamy and the sweetness sensually sensational! The vast majority of the wines were purchased from reputable wine merchants and auction houses, including Sotheby’s. Full case Romanee Conti 1990 in its original wooden case was purchased and stored in Crown Wine Cellars since 2009 until transferred to Sotheby's chamber for inspection. Property of a gentleman. Part of a much larger collection.
