Château Haut Brion2000
Pessac-Léognan (Graves), 1er Cru Classé
Labels very slightly scuffed, 1 very slightly nicked, French CRD capsules
In 2014, so scented and perfumed, more 'tamed' and less wild than when younger. A marked 'maritime' centre to it, with those intense blueberry flavours that are so often present in Haut Brion. Finishes on a strong note of arabica coffee. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
WA 99
