Mid-18th century
The shaped rectangular three-quarter galleried top above a conforming frieze fitted with a drawer to one side and sliding front, all over inlaid with floral sprays and baskets of flowers, on cabriole legs and ormolu sabots; the drawer stamped with numerals 34493 underneath.
Height 27 1/4 inches (69 cm), width 23 inches (58.5 cm), depth 15 1/2 inches (39.5 cm).
With previous restoration, the interior carcass with later reinforcements, traces of inactive woodworm to interior, age cracks and rippling to veneers on top, chips and losses to veneers around apron, old marks and scratches, rubbing to bronze elements, with key.
