Jessica Dismorr was an important figure in early British Modernism, working with the 'Rhythm' group of artist in Paris, such as Anne Estelle Rice and J.D. Fergusson, and later exhibiting with the Vorticist group alongside William Roberts and Wyndham Lewis.
