The large water pot of cylindrical form, mizusashi, finely painted in underglaze blue with four panels, each depicting one the four cardinal directions, including a dragon amongst clouds, a shishi dog amongst flowering branches of peonies, auspicious cranes under a pine tree and a tiger standing next to bamboo, the fine adorned with a finely modelled finial in the form of hotei
