Richly decorated in the style of André Charles Boulle with tortoiseshell and gilt metal marquetry
Front decorated with foliate arabesques and mythological figures
Finely chiseled gilt bronze mounts, depicting Aspasia and Socrates under a baldachin in the centre, and the two side doors with figures representing Spring and Autumn
Sides with gilt bronze mounts depicting the head of Hercules
Interior with one shelf
Marble top
Stamped inside and under some bronze mounts "BEFORT JEUNE"
