A Phoenician- electrum ring with a carnelian scaraboid engraved with a flying scarab beetle. The head of the beetle is adorned with feathers which seem to combine the image of Bes along with the insect. The use of electrum is also normal during this period. 29 by 25 mm. EU Size: 13 7.2 gr. PROVENANCE From a European collection since the 1980's.
