binding: English brown calf (305 x 205 mm), ca. 1640, covers framed by double blind fillets, gilt arms of James Ussher (stamp 2), Archbishop of Armagh, Ireland (the See of Armagh impaling Ussher), in center, edges stained red. (Rebacked with original spine laid down, some cracking to spine.)
