Offered for sale with a paperback copy of Memories of Isabella and Henry Blagden by their daughter T. H.-H., published in 1934, which details the story behind the gift of the bangle from Queen Victoria. The bangle was presented to Mrs Blagden as a token of gratitude for crafting an embroidered pouch designed to hold photographs. The pouch closely resembled a book cover she had earlier created and gifted to Benjamin Disraeli, an item that had greatly impressed the Queen.
