comprising: an unusual gold-mounted lacquer snuff box, Paris, 1762-1768, of kettle-drum form, the cinnabar-red lacquer body bordered with fine chased gold mounts, the lid bands hinged to form basket handle, tortoiseshell lined, discharge mark of J.J. Prévost, 5cm., 2 in. high;
a hardstone snuff box with enamelled gold mounts, in 18th century taste, cartouche shaped, the carnelian lid and base mounted in chased borders decorated with green basse taille enamel flowers, within scrolls and white and red raised enamel, apparently unmarked, 4.5cm.,1 3/4 in. wide;
A gold-mounted hardstone hand seal, probably English, early 19th century, of baluster form, the shaft applied with hardstone cabochons within cut rose borders, the agate matrix engraved with a dragon rampant in a triangular cartouche, 6cm., 2 3/8 in. high;
A gold-mounted glass scent bottle, English, circa 1760, flattened form, overlaid with a chased gold trellis work, reeded collar and cap, 5.5cm, 2 1/4 in. high
