Large Japanese Meiji era covered bronze censer. Of square form with applied dragon form handles and a knop in the form of a foo dog or mythical beast. Relief designs throughout of mythical beasts, scrollwork, and geometric designs.

There are no major dents. Some light scuffs throughout. Heavy wear verdigris patination to the interior and underside; there is one small hole to the underside.
