A CHINESE DOUCAI 'PRECIOUS OBJECTS' DISH Qing Dynasty, 18th - 19th century 十八至十九世紀 鬥彩博古圖盤 青花《大明宣德年製》楷書款 The finely potted dish decorated to the center with an archaic bronze with an arrangement of rocks and lingzhi supported on a rootwood stand, surrounded by a border of chilong dragons and foliate scrolls, the underside with sprigs of lingzhi and bearing an apocryphal six-character Xuande mark. 17cm diameter - NOTES: Please note a similar dish sold at Bonham's, Sydney, 9 May 2018, lot 159.
A small chip to the underside of the foot. Some firing flaws, including a couple of small firing cracks to the rim, pitting etc. Light surface wear. See images.
