A FINE CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE 'PERSIMMON AND FINGER CITRON' DISH Qing Dynasty, Kangxi Period 清康熙 青花福壽如意紋盤 Potted with curved sides rising up from a tapering foot to a gently everted rim, the interior painted with bulbous ripe persimmons and large finger citrons sprouting from leafy branches as small insects hover nearby, the exterior with clusters of fruit encircling a wide channel footrim 34cm diameter - NOTE: See a comparable dish offered at Sotheby's New York, 20 March 2024, lot 341.
