A large Chinese green glazed earthenware jar, hu, Han dynasty,
incised with linear concentric bands surrounding its body, with moulded ‘taotie’ mask and ring handles, 34.5cm high, surface wear and chips to base
Several typical faults in the manufacture. Surface encrustation to the glaze throughout. Several chips to the base rim.
