A Japanese small Satsuma vase, by Hattori, Meiji period,
finely gilded and painted with figures of rakan, elders and children in a landscape, brocade pattern borders, above and below, signed in gilt to a rectangular seal on the base, 15cm.
Typical minor glaze imperfections. Finely crazed throughout, crazing discoloured to base. Some very minor wear to gilding.
