Arabic manuscript on paper, 250 leaves, 13 lines to the page written in Maghribi in black ink, within red and blue rules, text divisions marked by marginal annotations in red or blue, surah headings in various colours, headings for surah al-fatihah, surah al-baqarah, and surah al-rahman in polychrome illuminated panels, in stamped and gilt brown leather binding with flap, marbled paper doublures
