Case: 18 K gold, sapphire glass screwed on back.
Dial: Solid silver, champagne.

The CABARET was launched in 1997 and was discontinued in 2012; it is the only square movement A. Lange & Söhne ever produced - its design is certainly proof of the company’s strive for excellence in watchmaking. The rectangular movement is visible through the sapphire crystal case back and reveals not only the legendary ¾ plate with the Glashuette stripes but also the rare swan neck fine adjusting device, which more commonly found in pocket watches. The CABARET comes in different shades of gold and in platinum. This 18 K yellow gold timepiece was kept safe in a stongbox for many years and the gold has darkened to a warm honey-gold hue. The champagne-coloured dial is immaculate. All gold indexes and numerals point towards the centre, which is the axis of hour and minute hand. Sharp angles dominate the dial. The design is very linear and clear, which gives the watch a very tidy appearance.
