As noted in the description, GIA has identified both jadeite jade and omphacite jade as the species present in this piece. Additionally, the yellow diamonds and yellow jadeite cabochons have not been tested for color origin or treatment. Both the green jadeite/omphacite jade and yellow jade are set over white gold backings. Due to the tension of the pinstem, it abruptly pops out of its catch once the trombone slide is disengaged, so caution is advised when operating.
