No. 5083, engraved "Bunzel Delton, Factory Vienna", spoked-wheel calculating machine for all four arithmetical operations, mahogany case with folding mechanism for tilting and setting machine at an angle, 8 input sliders, 9-digit revolution counter, 16-digit results mechanism, Bunzel patent clearing with 2 levers, writing field with slate board, mechanism sticks intermittently. – Literature: Martin, p. 210. – Note: This machine is a Model 5, with mechanism manufactured by Arthur Burkhardt & Cie in Glashütte, Germany. Until 1903, Hugo Bunzel imported complete calculating machines from Burkhardt, engraved his name on the top-plate and sold them as his own products. From 1904 onwards, Bunzel only purchased the mechanisms, while the cases and top plates were made in Austria. – A great rarity.
