18th century
The long single-board top set into a mitred, mortise-and-tenon frame with an ice-plate edge over a beaded apron extending to 'cloud collar' spandrels tongue-and-grooved to elegant, carved double incense stick and beaded legs which are joined on the short side by two square transverse stretchers, the underside fitted with four supporting stretchers, hidden tenoned into the long side of the frame.
