After Dončić’s return, the tandem led the Mavericks to the Western Conference Finals, the team’s best finish since 2011.
In the summer of 2022, Brunson joined the New York Knicks and flourished as the starting point guard, putting up career-best averages in points and assists while leading the Knicks to their first playoff series win in a decade.
