It commemorates the 200th anniversary of the United States' independence. The first four coins listed are replicas of historical American currency (with *). The other coins in the display, surrounding a painting of Betsy Ross presenting the first American flag, are not replicas but modern commemorative coins. Additionally, a two-dollar bill featuring the signing of the Declaration of Independence is centered below the coins. The text at the bottom explains that these replicas and commemorative coins are part of a special coinage collection created for the 1976 Bicentennial celebration. This set is an ideal addition to any historical or Americana-themed collection, offering an educational glimpse into early American coinage and patriotic iconography, a meaningful decorative piece for homes, offices, or historical exhibits, celebrating American heritage and the spirit of independence.
