Of brilliant proportion and rectangular form comprising three shelves, the four square corner posts gently thumb-moulded, pyramid-joined to the top and framing the three shelves, the top of mitre, mortise and tenon frame and floating panel construction with a dovetailed transverse stretcher on the top, the
huanghuali floating panels tongue-and-grooved to the top and the three shelves, supported by two dovetailed transverse stretchers below, the top and each shelf bordered with openwork galleries of repeated begonia-shaped motifs, with openwork spandrels at each corner below each gallery.
