17th century
The top of standard mitre, mortise, and tenon construction with a flush, tongue-and-grooved, single-board, floating panel, above a plain and shaped apron butt-joined to the underside of the seat top, raised on slightly splayed round legs double-lock tenoned to the top, the legs joined by oval stretchers below the aprons.
Each 28cm (11in) long, 28cm (11in) wide, 24.6cm (9 5/8in) high (2).
