Consisting of a jade 'horse and monkey' group carved with a recumbent horse with its head turned backwards facing the monkey sitting on its rump, the monkey with outstretched arms at play with the horse, the stone of pale green tone with dark and russet inclusions, 5cm (2in) long; and a jade 'horse and foal' group worked in the form of a recumbent horse with its head turning back gazing the foal rolling over at its hind, the pale green stone with russet highlights and mottled markings, 10.5cm (4 1/8in) long. (2).
