Patek Philippe is perhaps best known today for two things: the Nautilus range, and beautiful perpetual calendars. In 2018, after much anticipation, the Geneva maison finally combined the two within one watch to create reference 5740, their first and only grand complication within the famous Nautilus family.
A grand complication Nautilus was something that collectors had long awaited for, and the use of the landmark Patek Philippe micro-rotor caliber 240 Q within only further cemented the watch as an instant classic. Presented here in double sealed condition, the present lot presents collectors with an incredibly rare opportunity to own one of the most sought after configurations of the Nautilus, and indeed one of the hottest watches on the market.
