Conceived in 1953, the present work is from an edition of seven plus two extra casts, including one in the Hirshhorn Museum, Washington and one in the Tate Gallery, London.
Acquired from the Artist through the agency of Gustav Kahnweiler in the 1950s, and
thence by descent
