Iron-red Guangxu six-character mark and of the period
Elegantly potted with a globular body surmounted by a waisted neck rising to a gently flaring rim, the exterior brightly enamelled with a myriad of colourful butterflies, embellished with bands of overlapping
ruyi cloud collars at the rim and above the foot, further with a broad band of lotus scrolls and
shou characters encircling the shoulder, the underside bearing a reign mark in iron-red, fitted box.
