Tongzhi six-character mark and of the period
Of archaic
cong form, the square-sectioned vase surmounted by a tapered neck and slightly lipped rim, the four sides moulded neatly with the eight trigrams patterns, all supported on a short spreading foot, overall covered in a thick glaze of soft pale celadon tone except the foot rim, the underside bearing a reign mark in underglaze blue, fitted box.
